The construction project of Nanlong Domestic Waste Sanitary Landfill Site in Wengyuan County is located at Jiaoyishan Nest, Liaowu, Changtan Village, Longxian Town. The project officially started construction in August 2013, was completed in October 2014, and was officially put into use on December 1 of the same year. The project covers a total area of 130,000 square meters, with a total landfill capacity of 758,000 cubic meters, including 320,000 cubic meters in the first phase and 438,000 cubic meters in the second phase. The amount of garbage that can be landfilled is 698,000 tons, and the designed service life is 20 years. The designed waste treatment capacity is 100 tons/day.
